South Devon has a festival or carnival to celebrate pretty much everything great about the area!
We've got walking festivals to help you get out and explore our glorious countryside, music festivals packed full of local and visiting talent that'll have you bopping in the street, local food festivals that showcase the very best of the fantastic food and drink produced in our neck of the woods, town festivals and carnivals each giving you a great flavour of their community.
We have a Way with Words festival that finds a way to express everything we all feel about south Devon; we even have a festival keeping the wacky old art of Worm Charming alive!
We've also got festivals that celebrate our maritime 
traditions in Dartmouth, Salcombe and Newton & Noss to name a few. Even in the midst of winter there's something to tempt you out with fantastic festive street markets and celebrations helping you do your Christmas shopping in south Devon style.
