Seaton is the home of year-round outdoor adventure and offers active people an astonishing wealth of opportunities and terrain to explore. The Town is a natural playground for water sports fans. Walkers and cyclists have plenty of trails to explore.

The town offers several outstanding attractions including the brand new Jurassic themed Play Park at the Underfleet, a must for kids and Seaton Tramway whose narrow gauge heritage trams run through miles of unspoilt countryside.

Seaton Beach is overlooks Lyme Bay and surrounded by beautiful countryside. The beach is an ideal spot for swimming or water sports - and there kayaks or Stand up Paddleboards can be hired on site

Something a little different

If you follow the South West Coast Path to the South of Seaton you will not only enjoy stunning views back across Seaton beach and the town from the hill tops that line the coast, but around the shoreline is the pretty fishing village of Beer. On its sheltered beach you can enjoy freshly caught crab while watching the fishing boats come and go.

Public Transport Directions

By Rail: Seaton is just 5 miles from Axminster Station with trains running every hour to London Waterloo. Honiton station is 11 miles away.

By Air: Exeter Airport is just 20 miles drive away.

Public transport: There are good bus and rail connections around Seaton.

Buses: The X53 Jurassic Coastal Service connects Seaton with towns along the Jurassic Coast for some great days out.

Local buses 52A and 52B Services connect to Sidmouth, Honiton and Exeter. Stagecoach 20 runs from Seaton to Taunton. Local route 899 connects to Sidmouth, and 885 to Axminster via Colyton.
