We have an amazing programme of festivals, regattas and carnivals in South Devon – from the daft (worm charming in Blackawton) to the awe-inspiring (Dawlish and Dartmouth Air Shows), it’s all here.

South Devon Crab Festival, range of venues including:

Shaldon Water Carnival, Shaldon, Near Teignmouth - 4th August 2012.

One of the last remaining water carnivals in the UK, this is an absolutely magical day out for all the family. Details of the 2012 carnival will be released shortly.

South Devon Crab Street Party, Dartmouth - 5th August 2012

The 2011 Crab Street Party was a great success, with over 350 people enjoying an al-fresco dining experience beside the stunning River Dart. Mitch Tonks and a number of other local foodies attended the event, which included cooking demos, crab cracking demos, competitions, and much more. Look out for details of the 2012 event, coming soon!

Dartmouth Food Festival, Dartmouth - 26-28 October 2012

Now one of the UK’s most popular food festivals – watch out Abergavenny, we’re hot on your heels.  Three days to indulge yourself with a never ending range of food, drink, culture, workshops and entertainment. Join Mitch Tonks and his guest hosts at the Seahorse (Mark Hix, Valentine Warner and Tom Parker-Bowles joined us in 2010), enter a team in the infamous Festival quiz night or just sit back and relax as top chefs talk you through the art of cooking.
