Monty Halls Great Escapes

Based in the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth in south Devon, the Great Escapes shop acts as a base for local wildlife tours, courses in natural history film making and underwater photography, diving trips, stocks signed DVD’s and books from Monty’s various television programmes, lovely coffee, and is the source of all manner of tall tales and unlikely schemes.

The Shop:

Based at the corner of Fosse Street and Market Street, the shop stocks a wide variety of personally signed wildlife books and DVD’s, it is the place where you can book boat trips or courses, and has a couple of comfortable sofas and a permanently whistling and steaming coffee machine. Drop into the shop to discuss your diving experience and book your next trip.

Monthy Halls Great Escapes aim to get you into the heart of the action with the best South Devon wildlife, seals, otters, bird life or even basking sharks and dolphins. Monty has been lucky to work with many award winning wildlife photographers, cameramen, and natural history producers. The courses that are available harness this expertise, including television presenting, wildlife and unterwater photography or the making of natural history films.
