There are currently five varieties grown on 4 1/2 acres the main 3 being Seyval Blanc which is used to produce our dry & sparkling wines, Madeleine Angevine a south west speciality vine used to produce our medium dry wines & siegerrebe a relation of the gewurztraminer grape which makes a unique medium dry wine. Successive Manstree Wines have won many awards over the years in competitions on both a regional, national and international basis. We have recently planted some red grape vines, so in the next few years we hope to offer Manstree Red as well! Hanging Baskets and Containers are our speciality giving all year round colour and interest. We have over 16 years experience and aim to produce the best quality Hanging Baskets in the region! We stock a large range of ready filled baskets and pots all year round as well as providing a refill service for those of you with your own containers. Alternatively why not plant your own Basket in the potting shed, a purpose built area with everything needed and full written instructions. Our fruit Gardens are set in lovely surroundings which people find peaceful and relaxing. Grass paths between the fruit rows create a garden atmosphere. We aim to make fruit picking as easy as possible eg. cane fruits trained to chest height, kneeling mats provided for bush fruits and strawberries grown on raised plastic covered beds and well strawed between the rows. Also available: Frozen Fruit (for out of season use) Boyces Fruit Preserves Asparagus (early April to early June) Cherries (July) Victoria Plums (mid August) Apples & Pears (mid September to late October)
