Mothecombe Estuary and Wonwell Beach

Wide sand and rocky beaches on either side of the estuary of the river Erme. Privately owned but open to the public, these are beautiful and usually less busy beaches set within gentle tree covered cliffs. They are ideal for swimming, windsurfing, picnics and general relaxing. Dogs are allowed on parts of the beach. Mothecombe has the Marine Conservation Society Award, as well as parking and toilets.
