Sharpham Vineyard is set in one of Devon's most magical locations. The beautiful 200 acre estate is set on the bank of the River Dart, with 12,000 vines basking in the sun on the south facing slopes. A range of English red and white wines are produced, which consistently win awards at National and International level, including Best English Red wine in 2004 and 2005. The Estate also has 80 Organic Jersey cows that graze the grassland whose milk is used for a range of handmade soft cheeses. The cheese dairy has viewing windows so visitors can view the process.

Sharpham Vineyard offers a range of tours, which include a scenic walk around the vineyard and along the river bank followed by a tasting of a selection of the wines and cheese. (£4 & £7.50) Large groups by arrangement only. The vineyard shop sells the range of wine and cheese (styles as available). During the summer there is a small cafe on site, which sells excellent food all made from local produce. Sharpham is open from March 1st - Christmas Eve, Monday - Saturday, 10am - 5pm. (Open 7 days a week during June, July and August).
