Venford

Venford is one of the smaller reservoirs of Dartmoor, but also one of the prettiest. It has the added attraction of being set in an area of Dartmoor full of antiquities, hut circles, cairns and stone rows. There is lots to see here and it is a great starting point to explore some of the diverse attractions Devon and the moors have to offer.
