A magical evening at the ancient ceremony of apple tree wassailing.

Saturday 17 January, 2009 at the Scout Hut and village orchard

Join the lantern parade led by the Wassail singers to the orchard for the traditional Wassail ceremony. Then be entertained by the Newton Bushel Morris Dancers, Bovey Tracey Mummers, folk music and story telling with Clive Fairweather.

Home-made soup, pasties and cakes, BBQ, bar and warm mulled cider. Bring your lantern and a torch and wrap up warm. £2.50 adults, £1 children.

Food served from 4.30pm, procession at 5.30pm
