Yealmpton Food Festival

Yealmpton Community Association is holding the first Yealmpton Food Festival on 9/10 August 2008 at Yealmpton Community Centre.

Yealmpton has a lot to offer in the culinary field – firstly we have wonderful food producers in the vicinity, secondly we have fantastic restaurants and eateries in the area and thirdly, we have excellent retail outlets promoting organic and locally sourced produce. This should be celebrated!

There will be food stalls with producers selling directly to the public, farmer’s market style, as well as stands from retailers specialising in local produce and food outlets providing snacks and tasters. Cookery demonstrations will take place on the stage from our excellent local chefs and eateries.
