Riverford Field Kitchen is a new and exciting place to eat where the emphasis is on fresh, seasonal and organic produce picked from our fields and taken straight to the table.

Our Chef, Jane Baxter (formerly of the River Cafe) and her team prepare a set menu including a vegetarian option. It is a relaxed and communal dining experience as visitors share tables and serve themselves from the various dishes as they are passed around the table.

The Field Kitchen is open in conjunction with our farm tours giving our visitors the opportunity to learn about the farm, organic food, and understand the connection between the field and the plate. We hold regular cookery demonstrations and special events such as our Berry Days and Pumpkin Harvest during the year.

Individual, educational, business and group bookings are welcome.

Booking in advance is essential for all activities (our planning permission demands this).

Road Directions

By Car: From Exeter or Plymouth: leave the A38 at Buckfastleigh and follow the A384 for Totnes. Take the third road on the left, signposted Landscove and Woolston Green (look for the black lorry sign marked Riverford Organics). Continue along this road for 0.7 miles until you reach the farm entrance on the left, signposted Riverford Organic Vegetables. Turn in here and follow signs to the farm visitor's car park. From Totnes: head towards Dartington. At the Dartington Cider Press roundabout turn right taking the A384 for Exeter. Once over Riverford Bridge, continue for 1.2 miles (passing the Riverford Farm Shop sign) and take the second turning on the right, signposted Landscove and Woolston Green. Continue along this road for 0.7 miles until you reach the farm entrance on the left, signposted Riverford Organic Vegetables. Turn in here and follow signs to the farm visitor's car park.
