Rumour Wine Bar & Café

In the middle of the Guildhall, Pannier Market and Castle triangle, Rumour caters for all ages with a full range of food and drink - line caught sea bass, St Austell Beer, Lavazza coffee and Sharpham wines to name but a few. Busy during the evenings and at lunch on market days, Rumour is the place to be and to refuel before the final assault on the ramparts.

Rumour has been providing Totnes with quality food and drink for over 25 years - supporting local producers when creating a la carte dishes, pizzas and even with the choice of beverages.

Road Directions

From A 38 take Buckfastleigh exit. Follow signs to Totnes on the A384. At mini roundabout at Dartington turn left (A385 sign posted Paignton). Continue to town centre. Park in the main car park. Rumour is in the High Street opposite Woolworths.

Public Transport Directions

5 minute walk from Totnes train station. Come out street ticket office and head towards town centre (signposted) up a steep hill onto Totnes High Street. Turn left, and we are 300 yards down the road on the right.
