The White Hart is now a stylish gastro pub that sensitively retains its ‘Old Modbury’ charm with modern rooms above. Situated on the main street in the heart of Modbury, the White Hart is a great place to relax over lunch with friends or enjoy a drink in the contemporary bar area, where you can chill out on the comfy sofas.

Inside, the White Hart restaurant has a relaxed ambience with the comfortable leather chairs, Mediterranean inspired artwork and crisp linen napkins create a relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant, where you can enjoy a menu offering gastronomic delicacies using Devon's finest produce.

A well thought out wine list complements our menu which changes regularly; you can look forward to food cooked to perfection and a high level of service to make your evening just that little bit special.

Accommodation is provided in newly refurbished contemporary bedrooms, ensuring a stylish yet comfortable stay.

The White Hart is open all day from 10:30am when you can kick-start your morning with an aromatic coffee from its extensive range.

Road Directions

From Plymouth:
Take A379 towards Kingsbridge. White Hart Inn is on the right at bottom of Modbury high street.

From Exeter:
Take A38 towards Plymouth. At Wrangaton Cross junction turn left onto A3121 (Ermington, Modbury). Take 1st left onto Barracks Road. Bear left onto A379 into Modbury.
