Alexandra Cinema

The Alexandra has two screens fully air conditioned, fitted with Dolby surround systems. Cinema 2 is in the former balcony area and therefore is stadium style seating. Conversion of a distinctive listed building built originally as a Corn Exchange and converted to a live theatre prior to silent cinema days.

Screen 1 is wheelchair accessible, as are the toilets. Induction loops in both screens.

Road Directions

Free parking after 6pm in Cattle Market car park opposite. Parking also available in multi storey and in car park near Asda. Please note, shopping centre service area is subject to wheel clamping.

Public Transport Directions

Alexandra Cinema is located in Newton Abbot town centre and accessible by bus or foot. Newton Abbot Railway station is a walk away from the cinema.
