• All shoes and accessories are designed to be worn and loved for many years, and can be completely resoled or repaired- even our children’s shoes can be resoled to a larger size so they ‘grow’ with your child!

• Available in full and half sizes & four widths, adults UK 2-12 and infants size 4 – childrens size 3. Choice of 3 leg width fittings on long boots. We are happy to quote for non-standard sizes.

• Visitors are always welcome to call by and try on new styles or get professionally measured.

• One day Shoemaking Workshops also held throughout the year at our workshop.

Road Directions

Find us just off the A38 in Buckfastleigh, which is roughly half way between Exeter and Plymouth.
Take the B3380 Buckfastleigh slip road and turn right towards Buckfastleigh, then left at the mini roundabout onto Dart Bridge Road.

After 1/2 a mile take the 3rd left hand turn onto Old Totnes Road (which passes under the A38).
Follow road as it curves round and over the railway bridge.

Dart Mills is an old building on the left hand side - the car park is at the bottom of the hill, on your left. Park there, turn right out of the car park and walk 1/2 minute back up the hill - Green Shoes is up some stone steps on the first floor.

Although access may be difficult for anyone with impaired mobility because of the stairs, we are happy to come out to your car to measure your feet.

Public Transport Directions

By Train/Coach to Exeter/Plymouth/Totnes/Newton Abbot, then Bus to Dart Bridge Road (Station Approach), Buckfastleigh: X38 Stagecoach Devon Exeter to Plymouth express service 88 Stagecoach Paignton to Newton Abbot service (contact Stagecoach on 01392 439439). Then on foot for approx.15mins.

At Station Approach, Dart Bridge Road - get off the bus at/opposite the Jet Garage,walk towards Buckfastleigh along Dart Bridge Road. Follow the road until you take the left hand turn onto Old Totnes Road & continue as in instructions for drivers.

Customers may also choose to take the South Devon Steam Railway from Totnes to Buckfastleigh- Leaving the station turn left onto Dart Bridge Road and walk towards Buckfastleigh until you take the left hand turn onto Old Totnes Road. Continue as in instructions for drivers (approx.20 mins on foot).
