We are a family run Nursery which raises the majority of the plants ourselves. We have also a three acre garden with some rare and unusual plants in it, which is open to the public every day of the week, including all Bank Holidays & Easter Sunday, 50 weeks of the year. (We close for two weeks from Christmas Eve).

Entry to the gardens is free and there is a tea room and tea room lawn where light lunches and home made cakes and cream teas can be enjoyed from 1st March to 30th September.

Edward Hyams, the doyen of gardening writers, bought this redundant vicarage in 1960. One of his books and original paintings have enabled the present owners to gradually restore and 3 acre garden to its original design. Visitors are welcome to wander amoungst the magnificent selection of quality garden plants in the nursery or relax in the splendid gardens and conservatory.
