Ivybridge Bowls Club

This is an outdoor, flat bowling green, situated on the eastern side of the town. It is uncertain when the first 'Bowling Club' was formed in Ivybridge. Records show it has been in the same place for 80 years, although it was founded by a group of Ivybridge business men sometime before that.

Memership is open to all, age range is currently 11 to 80 plus.

The club has teams in the Plymouth & District and Print Leagues for the Ladies, and Plymouth & District for the men, travelling to venues both near and far. The club also enjoys mixed friendly games, club competitions, and a weekly club night, when newcomers are encouraged to join in and get to know other members, but most of all to enjoy themselves.
