Kenton Vineyard

On the west side of Devon's beautiful Exe Estuary, nestling in the foothills of the Haldon Hills, lies Kenton Vineyard. Planted in 2003 on an old Devon farm, the south facing slopes and sandy soil, together with the mild and sunny climate, are ideal for growing vines and ripening grapes for wine production.

The wines are made in our brand new winery, where the grapes are processed and fermented in new stainless steel equipment. The most up to date techniques in vineyard and winery are used to produce high quality contemporary English wines for the enjoyment of all.

We warmly invite you to visit us at our new vineyard shop and taste our wines. While you are here, why not walk through the vines on our vine trail and experience our vineyard first hand? Or, take in a full vineyard tour (by prior arrangement) where you will be escorted through the vineyard and the winery, and see how the wines are made.

You may prefer just to relax on our terrace on a sunny day immersed in the vineyard landscape and enjoy the tranquility and the panorama of the hills beyond. Occassionally you may hear the distant toot of a London train as it is about to meet the seaside on it's journey to Cornwall. Whatever you choose, a warm welcome awaits you at Kenton Vineyard.
