South Devon Tennis Centre

Set in the picuresque South Hams, alongside the River Erme, we are asily accessible from the A38 Expressway, the main route between Exeter and Plymouth. Our lcoation between the moors and the sea makes us attractive for holiday tennis.

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary last year. From being a small, traditional tennis club, we have transformed ourselves into a centre with four indoor and four outdoor floodlit courts, and are now regarded as one of the best tennis centres in the country. We can guarantee that you will be surprised and impressed to see such superb facilities in a unique building, in the depths of rural Devon.

In 2003, we were Runners Up in the LTA Tennis Club of the Year.

We offer tennis for players of any standard, and have no 'playing in' qualifications. Furthermore, you do not have to be a member to play at the Centre.

We are a private Club, run by an enthusiastic committee, who strive to maintain our reputation as a family friendly Club, but with a warm welcome for non-members and visitors alike.

We have proved to be an attractive centre to host many tournaments, due to the excellent viewing galleries inside and out.
