The Rock Garden Caves and Nursery

The garden is part of a spectacular outcrop of Devonian limestone with cliffs, caves, woods and a rocky waterfall. Due to the diverse habitat there is an incredible abundance of wildlife and plants in a very small area. Over 65 species of birds have been recorded and numerous bats, butterflies and insects. The caves accommodated prehistoric man and prehistoric cave bear, lynx, hyena, rhino, deer and sabre-toothed tiger.

We are easy to find, about 300 yards up the hill from the Chudleigh slip road off the main A38 junction at the Plymouth end of town.
