Bovey Tracey is one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor situated on the eastern fringes. With a number of unique visitor attractions and mixture of shops it is a pretty cob and Dartmoor-granite built town.

Situated on the River Bovey it is home to an internationally famous gallery - the Devon Guild of Craftsmen. The gallery in a 19th century water mill has an exhibition space with themed shows throughout the year and a popular café.

Other attractions include the Cardew Tea Pottery factory and shop, Becky Falls Woodland Park and the House of Marbles glass blowing and visitor centre. Nearby you can find Trago Mills retail and visitor park, Stover Country Park, which has over 100 acres of woodland, heathlands and marsh and a 10 acre lake. On alternate Saturdays, the town’s farmers’ market sells local produce.
