Our beautiful period house, which has lovely sea views from most rooms, has been upgraded to the highest standard and is only a few minutes’ walk from the beach, lawn and stream as well as shops, railway and bus station.

Superb half-board terms are available, using freshly prepared local produce, by our resident chef.

All rooms are spacious and comfortable, fully equipped and centrally heated. We welcome well behaved children in our family room, which has a separate children's' bedroom.

There is private parking in front of the house with a security light at the front entrance door.

Our prime location, just a few minutes from the town centre, allows easy access to public transport, so relaxing, car-free days can be enjoyed on the train, bus or boat.

Dartmoor is an easy drive away. Located to the east (approximately 12 miles) is the beautiful city of Exeter. To the west (approximately 13 miles) is Torbay, Paignton and Brixham. Further west still is Plymouth (approximately 40 miles).

Some of the larger attractions are located within driving distance including the Miniature Pony Centre, Quaywest, Powderham Castle, Crealy, Living Coasts, Pennywell, Woodlands to name but a few.

The town of Dawlish has been a popular seaside resort since the 18thC. The stream that flows through the town is home to many breeds of waterfowl including the famous black swans, the town emblem. Beside the stream is a large park (the lawn) with colourful flower beds and exotic plants.

There are three beaches, the town beach, Boat Cove and the award winning, sandy Coryton Cove.

The town has many individual shops, cafes, inns and eateries. Also a theatre, museum, leisure centre and 18 hole approach golf course, mini golf, bowling green and the famous South West Coastal Path runs past the door.

In August the annual carnival takes place with a whole week of entertainment, displays and exhibitions. This usually includes a visit from the famous Red arrow on Carnival Day (Thursday) itself, as well as a spectacular parade of floats in the evening.

Want an end of season break? Visit us early or late season for special deals/rates. Theatre breaks (Torquay or Plymouth), shopping in Exeter or Torquay or fishing/golfing weekends can be arranged.

From M5 jct 30
Follow signposts to Dawlish A379. On entering the town, follow the one way system and the sea will be on your left. Ascend the hill between the pink corner building and the 'Nat West' Bank. When the stone face of the cliff ends, we are located on the right hand side. Please reverse onto the parking space at the front of the house.
