Higher Well Farm Holiday Park

Higher Well is a quiet, secluded working farm park set in the beautiful Devonshire countryside. We have 18 static caravans and we welcome tents, tourers and motor caravans in separate camping fields, 15 acres in total, so plenty of room for everyone.

We welcome pets, but ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times, never left unattended and that you clean up after them. We have a separate dog walking area. Unfortunately we are unable to allow cats in our static caravans.

Our static vans range from luxury to economy; we have a range to suit most couples and families wanting to stay in Devon for a holiday break that won't break the bank. All our static caravans are maintained to high standards of repair and cleanliness. The caravans are on hard standings and have paths to them. There is parking for 1 car behind each caravan and more room a short distance away.

For something a little more luxurious we have 'Little Well', a luxury pet-free, non-smoking caravan, situated in it's own completely private and enclosed garden with patio furniture, barbecue and car parking for 2 cars.

We are very proud of our new camping facilities block. It comprises of flush toilets, individual wash basin cubicles, free showers, hair driers, shaving and electric sockets. Also individual family rooms with toilet, wash basin and shower.
We can also accommodate disabled persons as we have a specially designed room with baby changing facilities. We also have a dishwashing and vegetable preparation room and even an undercover chemical disposal point. The block is even heated in the colder months.
Our 80 pitches are generously spaced apart and drain well, some have electric hook-ups and hard standings, but we do strongly recommend advance bookings for these!
There are mains water and waste points.
Our other facilities include a small shop where we will freeze your ice packs for no charge. There is a Payphone and a Laundrette with 2 automatic washers, drier, spin drier and ironing boards with loan of irons.

Away from Higher Well there is much to explore. Less than a mile away and within easy walking distance is the picturesque village of Stoke Gabriel on the River Dart. The village has pubs, tea-rooms, grocery stores, gift shops and a Post Office. We are close to the resorts of Paignton (4 miles), Torquay and Brixham. Discover the special charm of Totnes and the South Hams, the splendour of Dartmoor and the cities of Exeter and Plymouth

From M5 junction 31
From M5 jct.31 at Exeter, take Torbay A380. Turn right onto ring road, still A380, to Paignton.
From Paignton, A385 to Totnes turn left at Parkers Arms for Stoke Gabriel, 1.5 miles turn left to Waddeton, situated 200 yds down the road.
