Well Barn

Well Barn comprises Heart Cottage sleeps 4 and Little Vine for 2 guests. They are available all year round for short breaks or longer holidays.

Both apartments open onto a sun trap, south facing, Walled Garden. Well is surrounded by Riverford Organic Farm Fields, and overlooks the gentle rolling hills and hedgerow bounded fields of the South Hams, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Close to Dartington, Staverton, Totnes and Buckfast; a gateway to Dartmoor, it is easily accessible to the seas with masses of places of interest to visit and explore.

The Barn was newly converted (May '08) to a very high specification with handcrafted oak doors and windows. There is under floor heating beneath the oak floor and water from our own bore hole.

Heart Cottage sleeps 4. The ensuite Master Bedroom has a king size bed: the second bedroom has twin beds and bathroom.

The conversion has used the old oak beams and a wood stove that set the style to a room you can relax in. The fully fitted kitchen and dining area has all that you might require.

Little Vine for 2 is the perfect place to chill-out, a compact get-away retreat to relax in.

Road Directions

2 1/2 miles from the A38 Devon Express Way. From the A38 take the A384 towards Totnes. Pass the Dartbridge Inn pub. Take the 3rd turning on the left (signpost Landscove & Woolston Green). Exactly 1/2 mile along this road, on the left hand side, is Well Barn.

Public Transport Directions

Frequent Main line trains to Totnes. There are buses from Totnes Seven Stars, in the direction of Buckfastleigh, that will stop at the end of our lane, 1/2 mile walk.
