Oldaport Farm Cottages

Oldaport lies in a peaceful setting in the beautiful South Hams valley on historic 70 acre working sheep farm and miniature Shetland Pony Stud. Situated beside the tranquil Erme estuary in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it provides an ideal location for unwinding, absorbing the countryside and being among the farm animals. There is an abundance of wildlife in the area and many fascinating walks - the south coastal footpath and beaches are nearby. Dartmoor National Park is just 8 miles away, Plymouth 12 miles. Oldapaort is of great archaeological interest, the farmhouse dating back to the 15th century. The site is an English Heritage site being an historic fortification of Saxon or even Roman origin. The four cottages, which were redundant stone barns, have been carefully converted into comfortable and atttractive holiday homes. All cottages are fully equipped. Heating in all rooms. Adjacent is a laundry room. Full bed linen is included. The cottages are open all year round - short breaks are available from end of September to end of April. Well-behaved dogs are welcome except in July and August. Safe parking.
