Situated in the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Kingsbridge sits on the Kingsbridge Estuary and is surrounded by lush, green rolling countryside, making it a popular destination for walking and sailing all year round.

Kingsbridge is a great place to base yourself during a holiday for exploring South Devon beaches, the South West Coast Path and nearby towns and villages. 

Coach Parking and Drop Off

There are two main drop off points for groups visiting Kingsbridge, these can be found at;

Outside the Cookworthy Museum
Adjacent to the Kingsbridge Information Centre

Free Coach parking is available in the Cattle Market car park.

Kingsbridge Information Centre

The Kingsbridge Information Centre sits conveniently on the Town Square, accessible and award-winning, their aim is to make everyone feel like a local. Happy to recommend places to eat and things to do, the Information Centre stocks maps, walks, souvenirs and gifts. They also sell tickets to local events, weekly car park permits and cards by local artists. Pop in for some advice on the perfect way to spend your time in Kingsbridge and South Devon.

Things to do in Kingsbridge

From surfing to vineyards, there’s a lot to see and do in the Kingsbridge area. The estuary provides plenty of opportunities if you’re a watersports enthusiast, such as kayaking, sailing and stand up paddle boarding.

Kingsbridge has an eclectic selection of independent shops and a whole host of intriguing antique shops, art galleries, and gift shops to explore. Cafes, pubs and restaurants line the town, serving the best local produce, including local craft beers, ales, cider, and even wine and gin.

Known as a great walking town, you can explore the South West Coast Path and the South Devon AONB from Kingsbridge, and enjoy wonderful countryside views across the region. There are hundreds of walks to choose from across the local area.
