Four-star Kitley House Hotel sits within an extensive, rural, woodland estate just outside the village of Yealmpton, providing the perfect base for exploring Devon’s beautiful South Hams. The centre of Plymouth is just seven miles away, allowing guests to enjoy the best of both worlds: the peace and tranquility of the countryside with the convenience and amenities of Britain’s ‘Ocean City’ virtually on the doorstep.

Most of the delightful bedrooms have panoramic views over the estate and are furnished to reflect the traditional elegance of the house balanced with modern facilities.

There are nineteen bedrooms, including an accessible State Room on the ground floor with views down to the Yealm Estuary and zip and link beds for Double or Twin use.

On the first floor there are six State Rooms, two of which feature four-poster beds. These attractive, spacious rooms have high ceilings and lovely, open outlooks over the grounds from large windows. Each of these suites has a different colour scheme and layout.

The second floor has twelve Classic Double Rooms under sloping ceilings. These can be configured as Doubles or Twins. Some allow for an additional bed or cot, on request. The rooms are a reasonable size, most with good views.

Attractive bed and breakfast rates are often available for those who pre-book special evening events at the hotel and wish to stay overnight.

Kitley House offers a luxury venue and excellent facilities for Conferences, Meetings, and Banquets, catering for up to 100 delegates in a choice of rooms. Dinner, bed and breakfast tariffs are available for residential meetings and corporate events.
