South Devon has a dozen or more excellent golf courses, all presenting a manner of challenges to suit both a seasoned professional and a rank amateur. All of them are in spectacular countryside and many enjoy panoramic seascapes. Temporary membership or pay as you play is the standard for the majority of courses and no handicap applies with most.

A healthy mix of 9 or 18 hole public and private courses, along with the offer of coaching and improvement sessions on a daily basis or as part of a residential training course, make South Devon a key target for golfers at all levels.

The greens are all very special, ranging from tricky 9 hole courses on Dartmoor to very lengthy 18 hole courses over coastal headlands and broad, undulating parkland.
