Celebrate food and family fun at Budleigh Salterton Food and Drink Festival!
The Budleigh Food and Drink Festival is a great fun filled two day event during this year’s Easter school holiday, which celebrates the best of East Devon food and drink. Now in its 3rd year, the Budleigh Food and Drink Festival provides a full weekend of entertainment for the whole family.
Our festival features REAL local and regional produce - from rare breeds of meat, hand harvested seaweeds and award winning handmade sweet treats, to local gin, real ale, cider and charcuterie, all produced and sold by people who really care about what they are doing.
The festival kicks off at 10am on Saturday morning. Throughout the weekend there will be food demos, talks and workshops in the public hall, a local Real Ale Festival, kids craft, shows and live music in the entertainment marquee, a fabulous selection of food and drink exhibitors from across the county in the market area behind the public hall, plus the new Living and Lifestyle marquee* hosting independent designers, makers, local organisations and businesses connected with our local environment and well-being.
On top of all this is the new Acoustic stage in the market area sponsored by the Exeter Academy of Music & Sound and lots more entertainment, events, tastings and special offers around and about town and in the area, including the return of the popular Tray-Bake Trail!
With FREE entry to the festival during the day, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
The entertainment continues into the evening at the Afters Party in the Public Hall… a double headliner of live music with Radio 2 acclaimed Wildwood Kin and Adam Isaac’s Bloc off the Wall. With the real ale bar and street food stalls continuing to serve after dark, it's going to be a festival highlight - get your tickets online before they sell out!
