The Royal Seven Stars Hotel is a charming former coaching inn, dating for the most part, back to 1660, and situated in the centre of the historical town of Totnes and near the banks of the River Dart.
Totnes is an ideal touring base for exploring South Devon, being near Torbay (6 miles), the beautiful South Hams coast and Dartmoor National Park.
During the spring through to autumn, river steamers operate to the historical town of Dartmouth. Easily accessible from the A38 Devon Expressway, turning off at Buckfastleigh, Totnes is little more than a five-mile drive.
The Royal Seven Stars Hotel is a charming independent hotel, with traditional features carefully updated to have all the modern amenities. The 21 bedrooms are all individually styled and some have four poster beds and spa baths. All rooms come with fluffy towels, luxurious robes, crisp linen, quality toiletries, complimentary wi-fi, flat screen TV’s and tea and coffee making facilities.
An award winning breakfast is served for residents, with a fantastic choice of Continental buffet, juices, cereals and full English breakfast options.
For guests staying at the hotels with their dogs, your pets receive treats, a special dog-bed and plenty of advice on places to walk locally.
Fine food & Vintage Cellars
TQ9 Brasserie and Champagne Bar serves fantastic a la carte evening meals in a relaxed environment. The food is fresh, local and perfectly prepared. The wine list is hand-picked by the management to provide a great selection.
As an independent hotel we can choose the very best products out there and we hope that we have; from real ales to local ciders, juices and world renowned wines. We offer a fantastic range of premium spirits and cocktails and have knowledgeable and passionate staff.
The contemporary Bar 7 is perfect for coffees and people watching by day and cocktails with friends in the evening. The Saloon Bar is our more traditional bar, with cosy corners and fires lit in the cooler months. Both have an extensive menu of traditional favourites and daily specials made from the best that South Devon has to offer. All of the above can be enjoyed on our sunny terrace, and both bars are dog friendly.
