When it’s time to get cosy, the flickering wood burner provides the ideal backdrop for a family night in and the three welcoming bedrooms await after a busy day exploring the local area.

On days when you don’t want to stray too far from your property, you can take a leisurely stroll along the coast to the pretty fishing town of Brixham. The bustling harbour has an array of cafes, restaurants and fish and chip shops where you can sample the catch of the day whilst admiring the harbour views. And of course, a break to Devon wouldn’t be complete without a cream tea (cream on first of course!).

There are a number of sheltered coves and pebbled beaches to explore and the South West Coast Path offers walkers the chance to see the very best that Devon has to offer.

The popular towns of Paignton and Torquay are a short drive away where you’ll find traditional seaside charm and golden sands for the whole family to enjoy. You can also take the ferry from Kingswear over to the historic naval town of Dartmouth, where you can spend your day discovering independent shops and art galleries, or hop on a boat for a day trip on the water.
