Step Into a World of Magic at the Brand-New Fantastical Magic Festival

If you've ever wished you could step into a world of magic, this summer is your chance.

We're incredibly excited to be bringing the very first Fantastical Magic Festival to Dartington Hall this August Bank Holiday, creating four unforgettable days filled with imagination, adventure and magical moments for the whole family.

From 28th-31st August, the beautiful grounds of Dartington Hall will be transformed into an enchanting world where visitors can explore immersive realms, meet magical characters and become part of the story themselves.

Rather than simply watching the magic unfold, you'll be invited to take part. Complete our interactive Spell Card Quest, learn wizarding skills, discover hidden surprises and enjoy live performances, music and entertainment as you journey through five enchanting realms. Every corner holds something new to discover, making each visit a little different from the last.

Along the way, you'll also find our Enchanted Makers Market, packed with talented local makers offering everything from handcrafted gifts to magical treasures. When it's time to refuel, there'll be plenty of delicious food and drink available too.

If you're feeling creative, we've got a fantastic line-up of optional workshops running throughout the festival. From making woodland crowns, unicorn dreamcatchers and magical jewellery to decorating treasure chests and learning spell-casting, there are lots of opportunities to create something special to take home. Workshop places are limited, so we recommend booking these in advance.

We created the Fantastical Magic Festival with one simple aim: to give families the chance to switch off from everyday life, spend quality time together and let their imaginations run wild.

Whether you're following fairies through the woodland, mastering magical spells or simply soaking up the atmosphere, we hope you'll leave with memories you'll be talking about long after the summer holidays are over.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Dartington Hall, the festival combines fantasy, creativity and outdoor adventure, making it the perfect way to celebrate the final weekend of summer.
