Meldon Reservoir walks - Accessible from Stage 1 Westbound or Stage 4 Eastbound Meldon Reservoir offers a scenic detour closeby to the West Devon Way route. The stunning reservoir was created by damming the West Okement Rier, and was opened in 1972. A range of walks can be accessed that lead part way around the reservoir, into the surrounding hills, or north towards Meldon Viaduct.
