Animal lovers, adventurers and those looking to do something a little bit different are all invited to explore Dartmoor Zoo as the place they say ‘I Do’.

Dartmoor Zoo weddings are wild and wonderful in every way. They are a perfect setting for a unique wedding with 33 acres of glorious woodland and a collection of beautiful exotic animals. The magic is never ending as guests are welcome to explore and learn while celebrating their special day.

The gorgeous Goodamoor House Ceremony Room offers an historic backdrop to proceedings with wooden floors and fireplace where 50 guests can observe the main moment before spilling out onto the 17th-century Manor House’s lawn.

There are a range of reception rooms on offer too, with the more intimate Jaguar Suite offering astonishing views of the neighbouring hills, up to larger events with the Jaguar Restaurant or Marquee Reception for summer weddings hosting 80-120 people.

And it’s not just larger weddings that Dartmoor Zoo plays host to either. Couples looking to renew their vowels, celebrate an engagement or elope can also enjoy their special day at this truly unique wedding venue.

But no zoo wedding would be complete without some additional guests who may have been missed off the original guest list, including a meet and greet with the cheeky meerkats, and the wedding couple can even meet the Zoo’s tiger, Dragon, for a truly spectacular experience and photo opportunity.

The Dartmoor Zoo weddings team cannot wait to meet couples to show them the stunning location, meet some of the animals that could be involved, and take a look at the different reception rooms and packages.

Couples looking for a truly unique wedding venue in Devon are encouraged to visit the Dartmoor Zoo weddings page to request more information.
