Having identified in a recent study that over a third, 36 per cent, of UK mums and dads don’t think their children spend enough time playing outside, Beyond Escapes, has launched a new initiative, encouraging kids to get off tech and learn the lost art of den-making. The new holiday destination is offering all guests the chance to hire out a complimentary den-making kit to use during their stay and help them get back to nature.

As part of this fantastic prize, you’ll receive your very own den-making kit to use with the little ones during your retreat to Beyond Escapes and to take home afterwards.

The den-making kit has all you need for a whole day of adventures with the family including a ground sheet, tarpaulin, rope, tent pegs, an ash mallet, mug, face paint, and, of course, instructions to guide you and your children on the best techniques of den-making.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, dine in style in the BE Tempted gourmet restaurant. Sample tantalising dishes from the locally-sourced menu inspired by BE Devon’s unrivalled setting morning, noon and night. For the grown-ups why not enjoy a fabulous selection of wines and beers - the temptation will be irresistible!

Terms and Conditions

1. Closing date for entry is 5pm 3rd September.
2. The Prize is as stated, non-negotiable, non-transferable, subject to availability and there is no cash alternative or different option. The promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
3. Winners accept prize at own risk. Also, if winners are unable to take the prizes, a redraw will take place.
4. The prize consists of a three-night self-catering stay for two adults and two children under the age of 18 in BE Lux Lodge with hot tub at Beyond Escapes Devon, and 1 x BE Wild! Den Kit.
5. The prize must be taken and completed between from 10th September 2018 to Friday, 31st March 2019 and is subject to availability. Excludes arrivals at peak times, including school holidays and UK/national public holidays.
6. Any additional expenditure (e.g. meals in the restaurant or spa and gym usage) or spending money outside of the stated package is not included. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
7. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, Beyond Escapes reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value and/or alter the competition in any way, including cancelling or withdrawing the competition altogether.
8. Beyond Escapes reserves the right to withhold prizes in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions or if Beyond Escapes deems, in its absolute discretion, there to have been any malpractice throughout the competition period.
9. Beyond Escapes accepts no liability for the prize or for any loss or damage arising from its issue.
10. This competition is open to UK residents only and entrants must be 18 years of age or over.  When contacted the prize winner must provide proof of age.
11. Employees connected with this promotion from Beyond Escapes or any companies or agencies directly connected with the creation and administration of this promotion or their families are excluded from taking part in this competition. Anyone found to be a third-party supplier will automatically forfeit the prize and a new selection will take place.
12. The winner will be selected at random after the closing date.  The winner will be notified by email and will have 14 days to accept their prize.  If the winner does not accept their prize within 14 days, it will be offered to another entrant.
13. Once the prize is booked, we are unable to offer a refund, exchange or transfer.
14. Maximum of one entry per person. Bulk or third-party entries are not accepted.
