English Riviera Literature Festival
Returning in March 2023 is the English Riviera Literature Festival, a three-day literary feast celebrating local authors and the written word.
Taking place from Thursday 16 to Saturday 18 March, the festival contains a packed programme of literary-themed events, creative activities for children and adults, fascinating author talks and readings as well as a chance to meet published and aspiring writers.

In Paignton Town Centre. From Totnes Road, A3022 (becomes Torquay Road), heading towards Torquay, turn left into Palace Avenue at traffic lights by Tesco Metro. The Theatre is at the top end of the garden. Roadside parking around the garden or Crown and Anchor Pay & Display. Just 10-15 minutes' drive from Torquay.

Easy access from Torquay, Brixham, Newton Abbot. From Paignton Bus and Rail Stations, walk towards the level crossing and turn left into Victoria Street (pedestrian precinct). At the top of this street take the pedestrian crossing into Palace Avenue. The Theatre is at the top end of the garden. (5-10 minutes' walk)
