Judi Spiers, TV and radio presenter and champion of Hospiscare, will be introducing the concert in Exeter Cathedral in aid of this very important regional charity.

 

Programme :

Fauré : Pavane for chorus and orchestra

Mozart : Violin Concerto no 5 in A major 'Turkish'

Brahams : German Requiem

 

This very special concert coordinated by the Isca Ensemble is to aid the ongoing support work of HOSPISCARE based in Exeter.

The orchestra in recent years has received high critical acclaim and on this occasion, three top class soloists and a large chorus comprising of experienced singers from all over the region will join it under the baton of Roger Hendy.

The orchestra is a recent winner of a special prize by the Oleg Prokofiev Trust. It regularly presents concerts in Sidmouth Parish Church with top class national and international soloists.

 

Tickets:  (Reserved and unreserved) may be purchased in advance online using Ticket-source, through the orchestra’s website www.iscaensemble.org.uk  or at Exeter Tourist Information Office, Dix’s Field, Exeter tel. 01392 665885.


Prices : £16 - £22 reserved (Central Nave) and £12 unreserved (Side aisles) with discounts for students.

There is special provision for wheelchairs at the front of each side aisle.

Booking opens on Tuesday 2 January.
