Crealy Great Adventure Park Firework Night, 1st November

Come and marvel at the explosions in the sky for Crealy’s annual end of season firework display from 6pm! There will be live music and entertainment from 5pm, selected rides open until 7pm, face painting, festival food stalls, special offers and much much more!

Powderham Castle Michaelmas Fair, 5th November

Make your own skincare products, 7th November

Learn how to make your own balms creams and ointments using pure bees wax and honey from Buckfast Abbey's bees. Incorporate herbal extracts and essential oils to create your own unique products. Course tutor– Clare Densley. Price £50 - All materials are included in the price as well as an exclusive information and recipe booklet.

Hannahs Christmas Craft Fayre, 13th – 14th November

Boasting over 90 specialty stalls selling the likes of crafts, hand painted ceramics, cards, jewellery, homeware, textiles, toys, soap, art and more, our annual gift fair is the perfect place to get Christmas wrapped-up nice and early. As well as fundraising activities, and a magical line-up of live entertainment, new for 2015 there will be a food marquee in the quad and an area dedicated to The Indi Creative. Children can also hunt down our 12 Doors of Christmas, before enjoying a story on our giant bed and a visit from Santa himself.

‘Make’ 2015, contemporary Crafts for Christmas at The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, 14th November – 3rd January

Showcasing over 50 of the UK’s best contemporary designer-makers, working in a variety of disciplines, with a range of prices to suit everyone, Make 2015 is an excellent opportunity to buy an individual piece of craft this Christmas. In addition to the exhibition our shop has everything you need to decorate your home and celebrate Christmas. We stock cards, gift wrap and decorations as well as a huge range of South West makers offering unique choices for Christmas present buying.

Exeter Princesshay Christmas lights switch on, 19th November

Princesshay is pleased to announce that it will once again be hosting Exeter city centre’s annual Christmas lights switch on event on Thursday 19th November 2015.
There will be a spectacular new decoration scheme, lighting up areas and walkways never previously illuminated.  The Princesshay lights will officially be switched-on by Michael Caines MBE and Tony Rowe OBE at 6.30pm. The popular Princesshay Christmas lights switch-on event also marks the start of late night shopping in the city, most shops will be open until 9pm on every Thursday evening until Christmas. The Princesshay Switch-On will also coincide with the start of the ever popular Christmas Market on Cathedral Green which will be running until 19th December.

Santa’s Storytelling Experience at Hannahs at Seale-hayne, 21st November

Children can hunt down the 12 Doors of Christmas before climbing onto the giant storytelling bed to hear a magical Christmas tale told by elves, before Santa visits with a special Christmas gift. Look out for a programme of Christmas storytelling on the giant bed throughout the week as well.

Totnes Christmas Market, 21st November

Visit Totnes Civic Hall where you’ll find 30 stalls with a wide selection of crafts and gifts, from stocking fillers to that special unique gift. Free entry to all guests and visitors, this will be a fun day out with plenty of wonderful stands to browse at Totnes Town Hall, the market is open from 10am to 4pm!

Candlelit Dartmouth, 27th -28th November

The Elizabethan streets of Dartmouth come alive with the glow of Christmas each year as a fantastic procession of candlelight lanterns carried by the town’s children create a marvellous seasonal atmosphere. During the evening Father Christmas will arrive in the town by boat and hand out gifts to children. For the keen shoppers out there don’t worry, the town’s excellent range of retail outlets come to life as well, with many specialist quality shops selling everything from local meats and produce to handmade arts and crafts.

All things Vintage & Festive Weekend Show, 28th – 29th November

Pick up gifts not found on the High Street with over 45 stalls, live music, workshops & refreshments.
