South Devon has plenty to celebrate this spring, as South Devon Chilli Farm has once again brought home top honours at one of the UK’s most prestigious gardening events. The award-winning chilli specialists have secured their third consecutive RHS Gold Medal at the RHS Malvern Spring Festival, and their second Gold Medal at Malvern itself. 

The achievement recognises the exceptional quality of the farm’s chilli plants and show display, cementing South Devon Chilli Farm’s reputation as one of the country’s leading specialist growers.

Behind every award-winning display is months of dedication, careful growing, and expert plant care. Preparing for RHS judging is no small task, and the South Devon Chilli Farm team has spent countless hours nurturing their plants to exhibition standard. 

Earlier this week, team members Jenny and Amrit carefully assembled the stand inside the floral marquee, thoughtfully positioning every plant ahead of judging day. Returning the following morning to discover the coveted RHS Gold card waiting for them was a moment of pride and celebration for the whole team. 

For a business passionate about producing the very best chilli plants possible, the award is recognition of the expertise, care, and attention that goes into every single plant grown on the farm.
