JEM Marketing is an independent marketing consultancy built specifically for owner-operated holiday parks and smaller park groups across South Devon and beyond.
Led by a former holiday park Head of Marketing, JEM helps owners, GMs and operations leaders understand why their marketing isn't delivering the results it should. Rather than adding more activity to an already busy marketing calendar, JEM diagnoses the real issue behind underperformance, identifies quick wins, prioritises the core commercial problem, and stays involved to help the park put improvements into practice.
Unlike a traditional agency, JEM isn't tied to selling any particular service - no PPC, no SEO, no social media management, no design. Because recommendations aren't shaped by a need to sell delivery, they're shaped by what will actually move the needle commercially: leads, bookings, sales, revenue, conversion and return.
JEM understands the realities of the holiday park industry - seasonal demand, holiday bookings, holiday-home sales, and the particular pressures facing park teams and the agencies who support them. This isn't generalist marketing advice adapted for the sector; it's built around it from the ground up.
Services include:
Independent Customer Journey Audit
A fixed-scope external review showing exactly how a prospective guest or holiday-home buyer experiences a park's marketing, from first impression through to enquiry and follow-up. Includes mystery shopping, a full findings presentation, and a prioritised action plan.
Retained Strategic Support
Ongoing strategic support to investigate deeper issues, set direction, manage priority projects, strengthen internal teams, oversee agency relationships and build reporting that actually supports decision-making.
Interim Marketing Leadership
Senior marketing continuity during maternity leave, recruitment gaps or other periods of transition, supported by trusted freelancers where needed.
Why choose JEM:
Independent, industry-specific and commercially focused, JEM brings genuine in-house holiday park leadership experience rather than agency guesswork. Every recommendation is judged against a simple question: will this improve leads, bookings, sales and revenue, not just how the marketing calendar looks.
Parks working with JEM typically see more consistent lead generation, clearer reporting, wasted spend redirected into what actually works, and greater confidence across the team and its agencies. Most importantly, owners come away trusting their numbers and seeing marketing as a genuine commercial function rather than a cost to manage.
If your marketing should be delivering more but you can't quite see where the problem lies, JEM offers a straightforward, no-fluff starting point: arrange an initial chat to talk through what's happening and where the opportunity sits.
