Celebrating 100 years of Coleton Fishacre
The once bare coastal valley was transformed into the Arts and Crafts retreat you see today, under the creative gaze of architect Oswald Milne and it owners Rupert D'Oyly Carte and his wife Lady Dorothy.
The family even documented the build from start to finish with their own camera, from the first trenches dug and foundations laid to completing the roof and landscaping the terraces.
To celebrate the centenary, we're showcasing the family's private photo album in a pop-up exhibition this year, with archive images not seen before, alongside walks, talks, weekly cocktail hours and more.
