AWEsome Christmas Art Gallery​

Art Week Exeter (AWE) presents an exciting pop-up venue for participating artists and the browsing public, in central Exeter.

From December 2017 to the end of May 2018, including, Art Week Exeter itself (22-28 May 2018), the AWE team is hosting a series of selling exhibitions, workshops and discussions showcasing talented contemporary artists at 27 Paris Street. From the grass roots inspiration of Exeter’s own artists to national and internationally recognised names, the AWEsome Art Space​ invites you to view, comment on, and even buy unique works at affordable prices. All sales are made direct with the artist, so you can be sure all of the purchase price goes to the maker.

First up in the roster of shows is the AWEsome Christmas Art Gallery​, which opens on Thursday 14 December at 5pm, through to Saturday 23 December. View the full opening times, details of the exhibits, future events and directions to the Gallery at artweekexeter.org.uk.

Art Week Exeter is able to open the AWEsome Art Space with the help of Princesshay, who have generously given AWE use of the premises for the pop-up period. This is a welcome part of a growing appreciation by business of local talent and the importance of arts and culture in the life of any city.
