The Dartmouth Triathlon (formerly the South Hams Triathlon) is back for a 6th year.
New for 2021 are our junior Swim-Runs/Aquathlons and adult swims on Saturday afternoon.
This sprint distance triathlon event offers a stunning course starting and finishing at Blackpool Sands beach. It's a challenging course with some climbs but also flat sections on both the run and the bike where you can really put the hammer down.
The race begins with a sea swim from Blackpool Sands which is naturally sheltered. Then it's onto the bike for the rolling bike course. You finish with spectator-friendly runs close to the beach using a 1.25K circuit. The run lanes are completely taped off so you'll be able to run at least 2 abreast on virtually the whole course.
Super-Sprint Option
Our Super Sprint triathlon is ideal for novices or those who are daunted by a 750 metre sea swim. You get to enjoy the full bike course but a shorter run and a shorter swim.
