Set in the living room of a barn conversion some distance from Paris.
Bernard's wife Jacqueline is going away to visit her mother, so he has planned a sneaky romantic weekend with his mistress, Suzanne. He has invited his best friend, Robert to provide an alibi and arranged for Suzette, a Cordon Bleu cook, to create a deliciously intimate dinner. What could go wrong?
Things start to spiral out of control with phone calls, unexpected arrivals and mistaken identities, turning Bernard's carefully planned weekend into chaos and confusion. Then when Jacqueline decides not to go away, the fun really begins. The comedy reaches new heights as everyone has a secret and knows a secret, forcing Bernard and Robert into a frenetic series of mistakes, mishaps and manoeuvres.
Pre theatre dining available, please place your meal order when you book your tickets.
This amateur production of 'Don't Dress for Dinner' is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals Ltd. on behalf of Samuel French Ltd. https://www.concordtheatricals.co.uk/
