OVERVIEW:
This 3-hour workshop offers you an exciting opportunity to explore your creativity and imagination through warm-up games, mindfulness-based practices, and short spontaneous bursts of writing (flash fiction and non-fiction), which you will be invited to share with the group (optional).
Active listening to each reading in turn will be followed by an embodied group response using our physicality to reflect what touched us, as well as a brief feedback discussion. This is to help each person to feel seen, supported and inspired.
The overall workshop focus is on unleashing our creativity, using play and inquiry to get into flow state through creativity, experimentation and collaboration.
There will be a variety of prompts to stimulate our writing 'bursts' through short stories, poems and discussions.
Any adults (18+) who want to explore their creative side are welcome, whatever your background of experience.
