'Handelfest', a celebration of the work of one of the greatest composers of opera in the UK, George Friderich Handel.
'Handelfest' will see the revival of two of our critically acclaimed productions, Ottone, which tells the tale of an emperor and his bride kept apart by court intrigue and the workings of fate, and Agrippina, Handel's masterpiece of political intrigue, and the most devilish of comedies. It will also see a brand-new production of Tamerlano, a true marriage of drama and music, written in a year of inspired creativity.
