Exeter Festival Chorus in its 25th anniversary year is proud to perform in Exeter's historic cathedral the wonderful Claudio Monteverdi Vespers of 1610, an emotive work which will help raise funds for the Lord Mayor of Exeter's chosen charity for 2018.
With its towering magnificence and rhythmic vivacity, interwoven with moments of tender reverence, this work is the ultimate showcase of the Venetian renaissance.
Exeter Festival Chorus has chosen this as the centrepiece of its 25th Anniversary Celebrations.
