* For opening times see festival website or event description

The Exeter Food Festival is a series of events and shows centred on demonstrating the finest in traditional and contemporary cuisine, and is perfect for a gastro-holiday.

The Festival is held each year in the cultural quarter of the city, spread across the courtyard and grounds of the 1000-year-old cathedral. The area is one of the city’s most scenic, and perfect for a week of celebration of food and drink.

Tickets for the 2018 Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink have been released and are now available from the festival website.

For the second year, 2018 sees the festival take place over the early May Bank Holiday weekend, from Saturday 5th May to Monday 7st May, running for all three days of the Bank Holiday.

The 15th Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink will take place in Northernhay Gardens and Exeter Castle and will feature a wide variety of producers from the region as well as demonstrations from top chefs, hands-on workshops, live music and food-themed activities for the whole family.

2018’s festival is set to welcome some exciting new producers and start-ups from across the region.

Fresh at the Festival champions producers who’ve been in business fewer than three years and this year includes Chickies Gourmet Eggs with handmade scotch eggs in exciting flavours, seasonal wild mushrooms from Forest Fungi Devon, award-winning Happy Butter Ghee, delicious and nutritious JEAM Super Mixes, Stannary Brewery Co. from Tavistock, Okehampton based TORS Vodka, deliciously flavoured Freda’s Peanut Butter and Littlestone Coffee with sustainably and ethically sourced whole bean and ground coffee.

Tickets for the all-new Exeter Beats Music Festival are also on sale, and available to buy on the Exeter Food Festival website. Exeter Beats will be held each evening on Friday 4th May – Sunday 6th May at Exeter Castle, with exciting live music acts performing each night in the Castle Courtyard alongside street food, real ales and cider.
