South Devon is perfect for families all year round with hotels, caravan parks, camp sites and self catering accommodation to suit all budgets and an array of places to eat and drink. But no holiday to South Devon would be complete without experiencing a great local event, and as you’re planning a family holiday, why not find an event specially put on to entertain you. So whether you’re an active family, an arty family or are interested in history, we have so many family friendly events that we’re sure you’ll find the perfect one to keep everyone happy.

And with many attractions putting on family events for special occasions like Mothers day, Easter, Fathers day and Half Terms you’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of exciting events on offer. But not every South Devon family friendly event takes place at an attraction or will cost you money to enter. Many of the events which are held throughout the region, in town and village centres, or a wonderful free attractions, have free entry meaning you only have spending money to worry about.
