Calling all Devon-based musicians! Music in Devon Initiative (MIDI) are proud to unveil the launching of their ambitious new membership scheme. The scheme aims to support and connect musicians and local businesses through exclusive access to offers and discounts, regular updates on the Devon music scene, performance opportunities, and support from an incredible network of industry professionals. The scheme will be officially launched in November with a showcase event at The Oddfellows in Exeter.

MIDI is a non-profit organisation committed to developing emerging talent and increasing opportunities for musicians and audiences, helping to make music more accessible to all, as well as generating business for the music industry in Devon. The introduction of the MIDI membership scheme offers a chance for local musicians to immerse themselves in a community of like-minded people whilst receiving special discounts and benefits for only £20 a year.

Membership will be limited to 500 people in the first year and on top of receiving a membership card, tote bag and sticker, members will have access to regular newsletters packed with information including gig listings, reviews, and performance opportunities. In addition to this, the scheme offers members exclusive discounts from a range of businesses including Exeter Phoenix, The Oddfellows, and Project Music. The scheme is open to any Devon-based musicians from working professionals to those in training. MIDI also invites local businesses to join in and support the scheme, alongside other local businesses - to find out more join them at their launch event or email their Director, Nick Hall.

Details of Launch Night:
The launch event will take place Wednesday 13th November between 7:00pm and 9:00pm at The Oddfellows, New North Road, Exeter. With guest performances and talks, and only 30 tickets available, the event is sure to sell out fast. Those attending will receive a goody-bag and a free drink.
